Innovation Fridays is DSM's way of making space for the work that compounds — the improvements, ideas, and learning that don't always fit into a regular week.

Who it applies to
Every team at DSM. The program is intentionally cross-functional: engineering, operations, finance, design, customer teams, HR, and leadership all participate.

Why a 6-month pilot
A pilot lets us learn how Innovation Fridays fits DSM's reality, what kinds of outcomes it produces, and where it needs adjustment before we make it permanent.

How we'll evaluate it
We'll review participation, the type and quality of submissions, ShipIt outcomes, and direct feedback from participants and managers — then make a continuity decision together.

Sustained progress comes from the people closest to the work. Innovation Fridays gives that work explicit time, structure, and visibility.
